President John Dramani Mahama has announced key appointments to the Office of the Vice President, naming prominent figures such as former Minister of State Alex Percival Segbefia, former NDC Chairman Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, and Professor Theresah Ennin to strategic roles under the administration’s “Resetting Ghana” agenda.

Acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, stated that the appointees “are expected to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to their respective roles and contribute significantly to the Resetting Ghana agenda to build the Ghana we want.”

The appointees include Alex Percival Segbefia as Chief of Staff to the Vice President; Mrs. Alberta Graham as Head of Administration; and Professor Theresah Ennin as Presidential Staffer and Special Aide to the Vice President.

Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, a veteran politician, has been named policy adviser, political, while Prof. Sharif Mahmud Khalid and Dr. Hamza Zakaria will serve as economic policy advisers.

Additionally, Ms. Mansa Amoa Awuah and Dr. Miriam Rahinatu Iddrisu will take on roles as finance and social sector policy advisers, respectively. Maame Ama Pratt, a communications expert, will assume the position of press secretary.
